I always tell clients to either go completely custom and get their dream kitchen or look at IKEA – there is nothing inbetween worth it. While many box stores offer cabinets, for the price you are better off with a custom, personalized kitchen that is exactly what you want and often for less if you do your research (or a kitchen designer 🙂 But if custom is out of the budget you can’t beat IKEA for price vs quality and design of a modern kitchen.
I’m working in a couple of IKEA kitchens this month and always enjoy the process of creating a unique kitchen with the options they have available for combinations of doors, shelves and interior fittings. And the great thing is that you aren’t just limited to the kitchen section as so many of their products have a coordinating finish.
