A Place To Call Home

This St. Albert bungalow captured the couple’s heart for its location among green space and coffee shops, but the home itself needed a full refresh. We transformed part of the formal dining room into a cozy den with a hidden door behind the kitchen—perfect as a retreat or guest bedroom. Awkward arches and poorly placed doorways were removed to open sightlines and create a more cohesive flow.

A spare bedroom became a bright laundry and mudroom, giving the couple a welcoming private entry. Relocating the primary bedroom entrance improved furniture placement, expanded living space, and created wall space to showcase their art collection.

Extending the kitchen into the former dining room created a space that’s larger, warmer, and more connected. Natural wood tones, fluted detailing, and sunlight-filled interiors add texture, warmth, and a handcrafted feel. A curated furniture package completed the home.
