The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer to support our team for a 1-year contract to cover an upcoming leave of absence. This is a flexible part-time contract , with the potential to expand in the future. You will work directly with the Principal Designer and project team to help bring our clients’ visions to life through detailed plans, beautiful renderings, and collaborative execution.
Contracted Services Will Include:

Prepare 2D/3D renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop

Assist in developing design concepts, drawings, and material boards

Conduct and document site measurements, specs, and site visits

Organize and maintain project scopes, specifications, and schedules

Liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors

Select materials and finishes aligned with project goals and design vision

Collaborate with team members to ensure timelines and budgets are met

Support installation and final styling
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years of residential or commercial interior design experience

Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Google Workspace

Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
-
Experience with Alberta Building Code and residential construction

Must be proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
-
Must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for local travel
Independent Contractor Terms:

Working Hours: approximately 20–30 hrs/week)

1-year term

Hybrid role: home office with in-person meetings/site visits as needed

Hourly rate will be based on experience
